CARTERSVILLE, GA – September 2012 – Located at South Erwin Street, Lara J Designs all began 5 years ago on the kitchen table in Lara Jeanneret’s home. The graphic and web design company, which specializes in logo, website and branding design, moved into their current downtown Cartersville office in March of this year, and has grown to include seven team members including designers, a project manager and social media specialists. The Cartersville Downtown Development Authority is pleased to announce Lara J Designs as the September Merchant of the Month.

Said Lara Jeanneret, owner / graphic designer of Lara J Designs, about her decision to open an office in downtown Cartersville, “When we decided to open an office for Lara J Designs I knew immediately that I wanted to find a place in historic downtown Cartersville. When we saw the office space on Erwin Street and found out the history behind it we knew this was exactly where we were meant to be. Our beautiful downtown has so much history and culture and we are so blessed to be a part of it.”

Lara J Designs has helped businesses of all sizes with a variety of creative needs, from the initial logo and branding concept, to the design and printing of marketing collateral such as brochures and direct mail pieces, to websites ranging from small to large. Though the company’s clientele goes well beyond the boundaries of Cartersville and Bartow County, the local boutique has worked with several other downtown Cartersville businesses including Bartow History Museum, Booth Museum, Wall Street Café, White, Choate, Watkins and Mroczko, Jenkins & Bowen, PC and Spring Place Pottery and Artists’ Gallery.

With her love for historic Cartersville and the various businesses that make up downtown, Lara wanted to get involved with the Downtown Development Authority and join other merchants in helping to spread the word about all that downtown Cartersville has to offer within just a few short months of opening her downtown office. Continued Jeanneret, “We are very passionate about promoting our downtown area and knew that becoming a part of the [Downtown Development Authority] was something we wanted to do.

“We would like to do everything possible to help others in our local area and beyond see how wonderful our downtown is and to support our local businesses. Becoming a part of the Merchant Association will help us not only promote our business but also the beautiful town we are a part of.”
