When the holiday season finally arrives, the Lara J Designs team loves finding creative ways to send a little joy out into the world. This year’s holiday card theme is all about the simple magic of mail: stamps, envelopes, and the anticipation of something special arriving just for you.
To pair with our hand-illustrated card design, we baked up something equally delightful to deliver: Linzer cookies. This year, we’re sending out the recipe for Linzer cookies on a recipe card that matches our holiday theme, so you can bake a batch of your own and share the sweetness with others. With their jam-filled centers and powdered sugar “snow,” they’re like sweet little parcels of happiness, perfect for sharing, gifting, or enjoying after you’ve finished wrapping up the last of your cards.
Below is the recipe featured on our holiday recipe card, complete with a printable version so you can keep it handy in your kitchen or tuck it into a gift box with your cookie delivery.

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Roll dough to ¼ inch thick on a floured surface. Lightly flour top of dough.
- Cut out cookies with 2-inch cookie cutter. Cut half of the cookies again in the center with 1-inch cookie cutter. Place on parchment-lined baking sheets, and bake for 10 minutes.
