The Board of Directors of the Cartersville-Bartow County Chamber of Commerce last week unveiled a new logo. The first charter for the Chamber of Commerce was issued by Bartow Superior Court on July 13, 1889. The new logo, which Lara J Designs assisted with, pays tribute to the more than 125 years of service in the community. The circle and seven stars are meant to represent the collaboration and unity of Bartow County and its seven cities — Adairsville, Cartersville, Emerson, Euharlee, Kingston, White and Taylorsville. As Bartow County is poised for extensive new growth and expansion, the chamber’s long-standing motto, “Chamber Serving Businesses … Businesses Serving the Community,” still rings true. The chamber is looking to the future under new leadership while continuing to serve its mission to be the catalyst for the business community by serving as its advocate, by promoting education and strategic economic growth, and by providing programs and services that bring value to membership and enhance the quality of life. The chamber also will be rolling out a new website before the end of the year. The new website will include an updated look, a more user-friendly interface, and new enhancements to benefit members.
