We pride ourselves on creating custom logo designs that meet each of our customer's needs. Lara J Designs specializes in helping new businesses get started with a branding package (logo, business cards, letterhead, envelopes, brochures, etc.) A majority of our clients have been pleased with one concept, although more than one concept is recommended for those who would like a variety of designs to choose from. You may always start with one and add more later. Before starting your logo project, please fill out our logo questionnaire. Answering these questions will help ensure a first concept that is as close as possible to the logo design you have in mind for your company.

logo design faq
Our standard logo package includes 12 hours of design time.
The number of hours is based on our many years of experience of how long it takes to complete a logo design project from start to finish, including creating an initial proof, going through 1-2 rounds of revisions, and putting together your final file package.
Our goal is for you to be completely satisfied with your finished logo, so if the first proof isn’t quite there yet, we will be happy to use your constructive feedback to create additional proofs.
When you give us final approval for your custom logo design, we will create a package of all of the file types and logo variations you should need for future projects, as well as a logo color and font guide. All files will be delivered to you via a Dropbox.com link.
Step 1: Gathering Information
Please fill out our logo questionnaire below to give us more information about what you have in mind for your new logo. Are there any specific design elements you would like included in your logo? Are there any styles that you love and want to share with us? Does your company have a pre-existing logo that we need to look at to make sure we continue your previous brand colors, etc?
Like all art, design is subjective, so we created the logo questionnaire to learn more about what kinds of designs you do and don't like, so we can provide you with an initial proof that is tailored to your aesthetic.
Step 2: Designing & Proofing
We will consider the information you have given us, brainstorm, sketch, and work to produce an initial concept. When we have a design ready to show you, we will create one or more proofs.
Once we have developed a digital proof of the logo, we will send it to you for review, and you can let us know if there's anything you'd like to adjust such as colors or fonts.
Step 3: Completed Logo
Once the logo is approved, we will create all the logo variations and file types you should need, put together a logo font and color guide, and send it all to you via dropbox.
