Project Description

We start almost every morning with a delicious cup of coffee from our local coffee shop, Noble & Main Coffee Company. When they asked us to design a bag for their coffee beans, needless to say our imaginations ran wild!

After completing the coffee bag packaging design we also worked on a gift box, customizable labels, seasonal menu design and some digital illustrations of Noble & Main’s iconic shop building in Historic Downtown Cartersville!

The Goal

Our goal was to ensure that the packaging design and digital illustrations flowed with Noble & Main’s existing branding. We also wanted the gift boxes to be eye-catching and festive for the holiday season.

The Designs

Along the top of the bags are three white stripes, inspired by the coffee shop’s building on the corner of Noble & Main Street. The side of the bag is covered with a map of Historic Downtown Cartersville. On the back is a hand-drawn illustration of Noble & Main! The bags also include a custom label on the front that highlights the unique notes of each coffee blend, making it easy to pick the perfect roast.

We also created a template for their printed menu, featuring seasonal drinks and tea options. The template makes it easy to introduce new seasonal drinks throughout the year. The menu design incorporates many of the same design elements as the coffee bags, making sure that they look cohesive side by side!

The gift boxes are a holiday-exclusive design with Noble & Main’s Merry & Bright blend. The packaging design is done in a festive red that makes you think of warm bonfires and cozy blankets in the winter time.

The Results

The results of these projects are packaging and print design that fit perfectly into Noble & Main’s coffee shop. The design elements reflect the building’s unique features and the beautiful Downtown Cartersville area that Noble & Main calls home. Bags of whole bean and ground coffee of many varieties are available for purchase. Next time you are in Downtown, stop by and try one of the delicious drinks featured on their seasonal menu!

Noble & Main now offers a subscription where you can get your own bag of fresh, in-house roasted coffee beans as often as you like. If you aren’t in the local area you can have them shipped to you, too. Coffee Beans are roasted on-site at their location in Downtown Cartersville. The smell is scrumptious!
