Lara J Designs is excited about the upcoming Cartersville Bluegrass & Folk Festival, for which we recently had the pleasure of designing a logo, a website, flyers, program guides, and more.

The first Cartersville Bluegrass & Folk Festival will be held on Saturday, October 19, in downtown Cartersville. Centrally located among the many historic buildings and progressive charm of downtown, Cartersville Bluegrass & Folk Festival will feature two stages of entertainment – each nestled among their own, unique atmosphere. The Main Stage, held in Friendship Plaza, will feature a variety of bluegrass bands including local groups as well as regional and metro Atlanta favorites. The stage, which sits next to the historic train depot, features a small amphitheater and plenty of grass to bring your blanket or lawn chair to nestle in for the day.
The FIrehouse Stage, located in the 1979 bay area of the old fire station – which was erected in 1916 – will feature both bluegrass and folk musicians.

This FREE, family-friendly event will also feature a Kids’ Corner with a variety of games and art activities for children to enjoy. These activities include designing their own train conductor hat, attempting to catch a fish,  having their face painted, and working off some energy in a bounce house.
Kids will also have the opportunity to enter a coloring contest. Just download and print our coloring page and bring to the Cartersville Bluegrass & Folk Festival to be entered in a drawing for a special prize! Submit your artwork by 2:00pm at the Kids’ Corner and judging by the public will be from 2-4pm, with the winners announced at the Firehouse State at 5:00pm. Must be present to win!
